    Hi guys,

I picked up a 2004 Tacoma extra cab 4x4 last week with a nice SnugTop Rebel shell which I will post pics of soon and noticed that one of the locks on the fold down sliding window behind the cab is broke. It is held on with two little sheet metal screws and for the life of me I cannot find them online and the dealer in town is not much help unfortunately. A part number or alt part to fix would be great. The window rattles when I drive which drives me crazy lol.

While I do not have a part number for you, I do have a different latching mechanism on mine…perhaps it will be easier to find one like this.

Sometimes places like camping world or cabela’s have sections for RV repair and you might get lucky finding some latches there.

There should be a serial number somewhere on the shell. A more helpful Snugtop dealer should be able to use it to find a latch

Ah, I was able to get a dealer in Phoenix to help me out (well so far it looks good just waiting on a call back from parts). The plastic latch is what I was told SnugTop switched to and after seeing how mine works I think it was a good plan (I feel I can modify/update my latch to the new one after seeing it now). I am also ordering a set of new tie down latches which came in a pack of six so will post that once I have the info as well. Appreciate everyone responding to my thread.
