    Hey Guys,

Long time lurker. I’m in the Seattle area and was wondering if anybody here had a mechanic/transmission shop they had a great experience with.

I had my throw out bearing and clutch replaced 2 years ago when the notorious squeal showed up at about 62K miles. Now I’m at 70K and that damn squeal is back again and the clutch pedal is creaking and feels much more stiff than it did after the repair.

I want to get both of these service bulletin related items taken care of (I bought this truck used about 5 years ago)

After reading around it looks like one option is https://clutchmasters.com/i-30506271?q=Toyota+Tacoma for the throwout bearing. Anybody have experience with this kit?

Anyway - anybody have a good shop in the Seattle area they have had work like this done at and been pleased with?

Kings transmission in SODO does good work but they are not cheap. They can be a little grumpy and booked out too. They probably won't let you bring your own parts

What year is your truck? I had a 2011 6 spd with a squeaky clutch pedal. Toyota Lake City replaced the whole clutch pedal, bracket and master cylinder for free under some kind of tsb. Felt great when I got it back
