So, I have a GMC 2500hd, and all the GM truck forums truly suck, like truly. That's why I stick around here, all active and fun here. I like working on my truck, and have no place to comment or ding around in my manufacture forums, they suck, all hero's and assholes....

Doing 2 batteries on the big truck today, can't get anything to go right, oh well.

Before the flames, 70K miles on it and no problems here, pulls everything I've ever attached too it, gets 12 mpg, and riders like a truck, but I love my gasser.
I know, you've all had an uncle that had a Chevy and it blew up at 12 thousand miles....., but in reality, I had to bring the last Tacoma in twice for warranty work, so it's been more reliable then the Toyota so far.....

Sorry, just blowing off steam, thank you for bearing with me,.... for all these years.

Have had 5 Tacomas, 1st and 2nd gen, 3 Tundras, 2nd gen, and the way my truck usage was going, Toyota didn't offer anything for me, but I still like the brand and vehicles.

I think I've tortured the forum enough with pictures of a hated brand on here, it is a good looking brute though.

No problem with outgrowing the Toyota. Looks like you got yourself the truck that fits your needs. Even if it is a dumbass gmc

This is only a joke, for my entertainment

i wouldn’t say its a hated Brand, hell I’d love a GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with all the bells. The 5.3 is a great engine. My brother has a Silverado with 120k and its been trouble free.

I’ve been a member of alot of forums, this is definitely the best by far.

Bummer you don't own a Tacoma. Always remember though, the sun's gonna shine in your backyard some day, some day.

Thank you all, I like my truck a lot, I work on it to make it what I want, then have no place to gloat on my mechanical success. In time, I won't be dragging around heavy stuff, unless I get a travel trailer, and really be an old fart traveling around the States.....

Never owned a 3rd gen Tacoma, really liked my 2nd gens, but a test drive in a nice OR 3rd gen showed me this truck wasn’t for me. I think they’re still a great truck, but the engine screaming away to make any usable power just isn’t what I was looking for in a truck.
So I went the complete other direction and bought a big ass truck.
