    Afternoon all:

Yea, flip of the coin right now Ken with all that's going on, figuring the most I could possibly save is maybe $.50 a gal. from current price, think I'll just order it on Mon. and get it over with and then look at it like I at least saved $260 from the high! :)

When my parents were on heating oil, they could get a minimum order (say 100 gal) to hold them over to see if prices dropped. Is that available? Don't know if dealers around here will still do this, delivery costs and all.

Minimum order is 150 gal., order less and they charge a $25 delivery fee, a fill will be right around 200 gal., so just better to fill the tank when I order.

Yup, no benefit to be had. Was worth a shot, though.

You can always dump some off road diesel in the tank to get by for a few more days. I assume you are only running it for hot water this time of year so not too much use.

Yes, another option, maybe could stretch it out a month or so and would be gambling that HHO doesn't go any higher by then. If I got diesel at the pump, it would be more than the HHO, I don't know where to get offroad diesel that wouldn't have the PA highway tax on it.

Happy to read this in the AM today.

I tried reaching out to him about 6 years ago when I was in Florida. He never did get back to me. I still have a T-shirt and licenses plate frame he sent me about 10 years ago.

Kurt: Nice job with the exhaust system.

Day 2 of early voting is done. 2 more days to go. This is a reminder I am no longer young. I am supposed to meet up with the other Chief Judge for my precinct today to divide up responsibilities for the upcoming primary day. I need to do some cooking today for the next 2 days.

:hattip: See how slow it's going? It was morning when I started. Good afternoon, Porch Pals & Gal! Busy day yesterday; C&C, home to help fix the Previous underpans, pool for a bit, switched some outlets and put up a shelf, pooled, make burgers, and watered the evening away moving sprinklers. Slept in, had some biscuits & gravy (yum! :hungry:), and got the laundry going. Was going to refinish the metal table at the pool, but I think that's going to wait until Tuesday now.

So, here's the random scenery from yesterday. I think the heat kept some folks home, and the exit started earlier than normal! Including me.

Gotta go mow the lawn, it's been a couple weeks because we've been so dry. But the weeds are now taller than the grass in the sidewalk cracks, lol.
This is the dog days of summer, most days to damn hot to do anything.

I have a friend that was a Helicopter Pilot in Vietnam, late 60's-early 70's. Army I believe. I lost track of him. Is there a registry I could submit my friends name and see if there is any current information/contact for him that you might know of? Lived in O.B. in San Diego, 1972-1974+?

107* here at the home of the Yellow Submarine. But we got that 0.10" from the little blob that passed through late!

You’re lucky! No rain for us, 108* (actual, none of that “feels like” nonsense). It’s only supposed to be 104* tomorrow. At least the power grid seems to be holding up.
