@Dayman Karate Thanks for having us, but also thanks for coaching me along the way. I definitely feel like I learned a lot more than if I’d have stumbled through it on my own. And in case I never did say it, many thanks also go out to @gixxerphil and @baldridge for the barbecue. That was awesome y’all did that. Can’t wait to return the favor one day! And to all of you who just joined in helping me work on stuff, like @nagorb, y’all are salt of the earth. I know at some point each of you had a wrench on my truck and it didn’t go unnoticed. Glad to know fellas like you are around.

 

I will echo all that. Was my first real large group mod day. Very educational. Wish I would have gotten to spend some time watching Corey. He was in the deep end of the pool. I would encourage anyone to make time and attend one of these any chance you get. Even if you don’t have anything to do. Just a great time all around.

 

I didn’t do much, y’all did all the work! Glad we could do it. Will have to do another one when the temp is down and we can ride a bit.

I'll be installing new suspension when it's time for new tires. Probably in another month or so, I'll need tires.

 

How’s it ride? Think you’ll leave the swaybar off?

 

I love the ride so far. Much more improved. Showed the wifey what it’s like without the sway bar yesterday. Sent her into the window coz she can’t ride in a truck like a normal person. Went ahead and put it back on since we spend so much time on the interstate with it. These springs just still seem too soft to run it without.

 

Nice, yeah if you see mostly pavement it’ll be a good thing. I want to ditch it on the ford because the driveway is rough, but no way I’d enjoy it not being there when hauling something haha even if I came up with some quick disconnects, I’m too unmotivated to do that every time.

 

My thoughts exactly. It was real nice to see what it’s like off-road without it though. If I ever get a commuter or upgrade the springs, I’d definitely reconsider.

Yep a larger spring rate is what youll need. Ive got 700 pd springs which really might be too much for my truck but im afraid if i get rid on em my truck will lean super hard onroad lol. It already leans a good bit. I havent had my swaybar in 3 years.

 

As long as you know of a place that can align it correctly after the lift! Might do it one Saturday morning.

 

I was hoping, but honestly kind of expected to still need it. I think the Eibach springs I ended up with are supposed to match the stock spring weight, so I assume that’s why they include the relocation bracket.

 

yep Firestone right down the street. I use them all the time. They do a good job. This is what they did per my specs for 35's and got it perfect. Caster is supposed to be way off so ignore lol

 

Get you the spacers. Made a big difference on mine.
