Hey, new to the forum so apologies if these questions have already been addressed. I've done some scouring but still haven't quite found all the answers and am not quite ready to pull the trigger. I'm looking at adding some lighting to my taco. This is what I'm thinking:
    - SS3 Pro ditch lights, yellow combo
    - SS3 Fog lights, yellow, pro level
    - SSC2 Sport reverse lights

    What I'm wondering:
    - Radio interference with DD fogs? I saw a post or two where this was mentioned; is this a one-off or a common issue?
    - Will pro power yellow ditch lights impact visibility while driving e.g. reflect off the hood? I'm thinking I'd aim them a little more forward so they'd illuminate more of the road and less of the ditch.

Thanks for the patience and help!

    Will do
I got you here - No problem at all!

    1) Radio Interference - "Generally" DD products do not produce any radio interference. We have seen fringe cases where a pod will have some sort of internal grounding issue that drives interference for the radio. Other times the solution is simply a left to right swap of adapter harnesses and it knocks it out.

    2) Any sort of light source on the A-Pill is going to produce SOME hood splash. Tighter patterns are going to provide less of course. So the combo pattern is going to drop some down of course. However, the level at which this bothers or impacts your driving experience is all up to you. I will tell you this... We have sold a ton of SS3 ditch kits in a combo pattern and we haven't had a single one come back due to hood splash. I think that the visibility improvements down-range outweigh the negative of the hood splash for most folks. I am personally very averse to it, but I generally build lighting setups that have tight patterns on the A-pillar, and then the flood type of patterns below the hood line. That said, if that's all you have for location it is still a good option.

    3) We have all of what you're shopping for in stock here at Hotshot Offroad :D

@memario1214 Thanks for the reply! Sounds like DD makes some solid products. I kinda figured that would be the case with the A-pillar lighting; I don't think I'll be too bothered by it.

Looks like a rad shop you have going! I'll likely order em from a Canadian supplier. All the best
