Watched her sail into San Diego Bay this morning. At 254' long and 290'ft tall, this beautiful vessel is quite the the sight. Built for Chairman/CEO of Avis rental car Joseph Vittoria for $50 million (in 2003 dollars), it's Genoa is the worlds largest sail at 19,730 sq ft and has sailed 19 knots in 8 1/2' seas. It is docked close by and will check i t out up close tommorow.

I work on an 80ft, 41 ton gaff rigged schooner and I must say that ship is INSANE. Why they went with a giant sloop is beyond me

I have no knowledge of these things, but looking at how that thing is listing the beds must have straps!
