The P-85 was the first semi auto I ever shot. It was a nice shooter.

Local dealer has a Ruger Super Blackhawk with the
10.5" barrel in 44 mag. which appears to have been used very little
that is tempting me. $649. Not sure I want to pay that much
since I have seen a couple new ones for same price but would
have to order and have shipped.

    Stock image from another website.

My latest acquisition; a New-in-the-box Model 58 .41 Magnum. Been sitting in two different safes for over 50 years, got it from a retired LEO who inherited it from a co-worker about 15 years ago. Makes a prefect companion for my M57.

Ever since I was a kid I've wanted a Colt Python. By the time I was old enough and could afford one the prices went through the roof. Then 2020 came along and Colt re-released the Python and I had to have it.

Surprising that they waited so long to bring it back with all the name recognition that model got from The Walking Dead being such a big hit on TV. They could have caught the kind of wave that Rye whiskey rode when the Mad Men writers made it Don Draper's drink of choice.

Makes me wish that any "new" model handguns could be legally bought in CA. Nice looking piece.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
    S&W Model 681, 4" barrel

My late father-in-law gave it to me many years ago. It is the one gun in my collection that I will never part with.

Bought new in 78 as a blued weapon, took a long look at it in the box and had my gun shop send it back to S&W for nickel plating. A year later and it's been with me since. One sweet shooting Model 19 that I'll never part with. Yes it's pinned and recessed.

My favorite revolver is the first handgun that I ever purchased, sometime around 1980-81. Dan Wesson 15-2V .357 magnum. I have a 6" and 4" barrel for it. Dam fine pistol and shoots great. Double Action trigger pull is a bit heavy, the single action is smooth as butter breaks very clean. I bought this pistol with an 8" barrel that I no longer have, much to my dismay, but that's another story all by itself. I'd put this up against any Python or S&W pistol out there for accuracy. One day, I'll pony up the money and get me another 8" barrel for it, but dam they're expensive.

Dan Wesson makes a dam fine pistol, especially the older 15-2V. That 15 inch barrel is worth a small fortune these days.

Anyone have a Barrel and Shroud for my Dan Wesson 357. 4 inch. I haven't picked it up yet but it's got an 8 inch barrel on it now. I think it's 15-2 .

those Barrels are scarce these days, and worth quite a bit. That 8 inch barrel is quite accurate. Are you just looking for a shorter barrel for carry. Good luck finding one, will most likely cost you about 3-4 hundred dollars or more.
