Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
First, thumbs up to Clearwater Toyota for making my ‘19 lease buyout painless. I learned a lot of useful info.
But, come on Toyota, build some trucks! I couldn’t find an allocation for the truck I wanted for miles and miles. And couldn’t find a recent year preowned even close to a reasonable price. Even with the outrageously high offer I got to sell my current truck.
How are these dealerships staying in business with no inventory? I pull in today and see a Jeep Gladiator, and GMC Terrain on the Toyota new car pedestal curbs!

I'd like a new gladiator in gobi color.
Looked around for a new one. The numbers were terrible.
Jeep dealers near me aren't discounting them. At least not rubicon trim.
Fortunately, I can live w/o it. I should thank them, saves me $40k. That's about how much the 6.4 hemi swap will cost me.

I recently drove passed the dealership I purchased from. The Nissan dealership across the street had more Tacoma's (2) on the lot for sale then they did (none). The funny thing is, Toyota is advertising Tacoma's on the radio.

Plenty of stock rolling into the dealerships up in the FL panhandle. They don’t sit on the lot for long, but they are coming in. I just put a deposit on a sport(prem, tech, LEDs) that’ll be here in a month. Paying MSRP. They advertised a ~3K+ markup, but it was easily negotiated away. There were plenty of others to choose from, unless you’re looking for a pro.

My S-I-L just got a heck of a deal on a brand new Gladiator Rubicon Diesel. But it took him weeks of negotiations and had to go to Missouri from Fl to get it.
I told him I’ll have my tow strap ready for him when he calls.

Check out leasehackr forum and use one of the Toyota lease brokers there to source you a truck. They’ll do purchase deals as well. You’ll most likely have to get a vehicle from out of state (depending on where you are) but you can get what you want and at MSRP. Mine came out of PA.

Been seeing a commercial for the local Ford dealer. I've been by their lot, not many cars at all. In the commercial it says "with over 1,500 cars in our network we have what you need". The commercial shows about 5 new trucks and you can see the empty parking lot.

It's bad everywhere... seven on the lot but there is ONE Tacoma on the lot LOL
    It's a TRD Access Cab 4X4 V6 for $41,642
    Several Tundras.

Just for fun I checked Dodge and Fords - they got tons of trucks available... just tons and tons.

No surprise Dodge Jeep dealers have tons of stock! All through the pandemic, while other dealer lots emptied out of vehicles, the Dodge Jeep lots stayed pretty full. I pass by a Dodge dealers back up lot once a week. It has to have 250 various Ram trucks in there, all collecting dust! Some new, some used....
