    Adding heated seats. Which size add a fuse do I purchase?

    how many watts are the heated seats rated at?

    Nobody can tell you without adequate information.

    The heaters / seats that you are adding should have that information in the documentation.

    Take the rated watts and divide by 12. That will tell you how many amps they pull.

    Then go 20-50% more for a buffer and use that to size the fuse and wiring. The wiring size should not be rated less than the fuse.

    Make sure you know if they mean the watts are PER seat or Together.

    AND, make sure you choose a fuse slot with adequate wiring going to it... if your seats need 20 amps (NO idea, just a WAG for illustrative purposes) and you select a circuit to tap into which has a 5 amp fuse and 24AWG wire, you may wind up letting the magic smoke out of something.
