Getting a 2017 Sport soon and looking to put my current 275 70 17 KO2s on at the dealership. Worried they won’t fit or have rubbing for a 4 hour drive home before I can put a lift on...Reading mixed reviews. Thoughts?

Lift doesn't really help. Probably have to lose the front flaps and maybe heat the liner.

Thanks...I was planning on taking the mud flaps off at the dealership.

Well then you aren't going to hurt anything. I'd drive it home.

275/70/17 no lift but they are on 4runners. Been driving it like this for a couple months and it’s fine. I only got it to barely touch a couple of times hitting the swale in my driveway faster than I’d normally pull in and with the wheels turned. I did the Home Depot parking lot lock to lock, fast turns and such with zero rubbing. On road in normal driving there have been zero issues with any rubbing. I was gonna lift it but have reconsidered. It is not necessary in my opinion and not worth the other issues that may show up later.

It’s an SR so no mud flaps to begin with, I would’ve removed them regardless.

I just got the 2022 TRD Sport and am looking at the 275/70/17's
How do you like the tires after a year?
Did you ever have and more rubbing issues with the 275/70/17's, Im going with the same tire or a BFG KO2.

You will need spacers if your using stock sport wheels. They are +30 offset., will rub upper control arms. Others have run that size, with spacers, or less + offset.

Why does the sport have +30?
It should have 0 offset as they are stock wheels??

    Is this chart correct?
If your Tacoma came stock with the below tire size the wheel typ is shown....
    upload_2022-7-11_17-29-58.jpg
Mine came with 265/65/17's, so that shows I have a stock +30 (ET30) offset. Correct?
