I haven't seen the Datsun yet.. that's cool!

 

I was pretty excited!

 

That’s the first thing I noticed too

 

I think I have two or three of the mini Datsun's but haven't seen the ultra collectors detailed versions. Nice!

I just wish they weren't $5+ a piece usually.

I remember getting standard blister cars for less than a dollar back in the day.

 

The premium are premium.. rubber tires and lots of details etc.. the standards are still 94 cents at my Walmart and 95 cents at Target. They also used to be $1 at the Dollar Stores but now the Dollar Stores are $1.25 .. luckily they don't have much or often.

 

The 62 Belair bubbletops are the same model kit with both being painted the same colors. One with Pro Street mods. One with out. I did this back in the 90s to show with a little imagination what you can do. Neither of these cars were built out of the box as intended.The closer to stock one received wide whitewalls and nicer hubcaps than what was originally offered. The Pro Streeter had the rear end narrowed and the tires ,wheels,wheelie bars, hood scoop and engine all came from a Pro Stock 82 Camaro kit. If redone today I would have not used the hood scoop.
The 63 Dodge was sort of brought back from the dead. It originally had a black and yellow paint scheme but the black was done with decals which started to peel off after 20+ years. There was some sanding to remove the rest of the decals and decided to leave it weathered for now.

 

Another day at the races with the Rebel Reaper laying the rear bumper on the ground yesterday at Dragway 42s Rock and Race Weekend. Close to 1000 cars like this were there. I came home with bits of rubber stuck on my clothes, face and arms and a sunburn.

 

Winn-Dixie was generous! Surprised to find these there

 

This set was way to awesome to not get out in the sunlight and show off!

 

I grabbed that KITT super pursuit too, odd looking car, i dont remember it from knight rider...been awhile since i have seen though.

couple dollar cars and this Unimog was a premium HW.

 

I think there was Turbo Boost that became Super Turbo Boost then KITT got mess up and they came out with Super Pursuit Mode... i think it was in one of the last seasons...

Very nice. I know those Mustangs are out there. I have a white one with red stripes. I will be adding the one you posted when I find it. There is also a purple version. I did a wheel swap on the 55 Chevy you sent me. Ill post it when I do my next shoot. I have swap meets at Randolph in 2 weeks and Canfield this Saturday. The plan is to go early and hit local Yokels for Real Riders and avoid the vultures. Canfield is huge. I'll be at Summit Motorsports Park next weekend for the Blue Suede Cruise. They also have a small swap meet there. After that its back to slim pickings until Labor Day.

 

Hello all.
I’ve been collecting Hot Wheels and Matchbox since about 1987. I’ve begun opening up boxes and boxes of cars that I’ve been dragging around with me for abt 12 years from base to base. Now my cars have a home-cave! (I need to finish it first!).
I’m glad there’s a forum here for diecast collectors.

Finally got the Tacoma debut color variation. I insist it should have been Magnetic gray Metallic (lol!)
