Do these bow up after a few years like the rest? My VD max ones have started to separate.

I think the Huskys for 05-15 are normal price, sale price is around $103

I'm not entirely sure since my unit was malfunctioning and I was having a hard time getting anything to work. The biggest one that I can remember is their quick charge feature can only be turned off with the app. Supposedly that "feature" will shorten the battery's lifespan unless turned off. And like I said, you may need to update the firmware to do certain things, like connect the extra battery, and that can only be done in the app.

So I’ve noticed a lot of deals on prime are available and sometimes better on the manufacturer’s website. That being said, I’ve been eying a simple solar setup for peace of mind while camping. I have a single northstar group 31 and really just run a fridge. Thoughts on this renogy kit?

I run a renogy 100w panel and like it. Other than Some extra wires, connectors, and fuses you should be good.

I’m guessing to extend the harness? Should have all that on hand I think

looks interesting, but.... depending on the fridge/frezzer you're running, by itself it might not be enough to charge up the battery. You might need a dual battery charge controller, aaand an extra panel.
I'd totally advise you to look at this thread Dual Battery Setups! Let's see them! Multiple Batteries Thread!

I'm running a 75dz fridge/freezer (because ice cream and ice coffee are important) with a 100Ah battery and a single 100W panel (like in that kit), and unfortunately it's not enough. Still have to run the car a couple of hours a day to keep it charged.

I’ve got a dometic CFX3 45 and it runs for about 2-3 days in our gx460 with an x2 power group 27. I haven’t ran it in my taco much, so I’m hoping with the solar assistance it’ll be good to go :fingerscrossed:

I loaded mine up with loctite and that haven’t changed. If you lube them they will get more consistent as well in my experience.

Like has been said a couple times, this is why you look at camel, honey, and other sites.

Camel shows $30.99 for the last year. Amazon verifies this with the prime savings, but still shows 55% off the MSRP
