New PRO Grille - Can I stick a fog light in knock out for camera

Hello,

As with most things I've tried to do, I seem to have no gotten a non refundable Toyota Pro grille for my 2019 off road. While it looks to be what I ordered, I was not aware of the camera space in here. I have a couple of ideas, but one was to stick another 'fog' light or maybe move the three light option down below the Toyota emblem. Anyone know if this is illegal, assuming I keep it the same as the fog lights I'm getting?

 

Depends on your state. Some states allow for additional "driving lights" as long as they meet certain criteria. I have a pre camera/collision sensor truck, but isn't the space you're referring too in the grill pretty tiny?

 

The space is about 4" x 3"..... I assume there are versions of this that don't include this, but eBay is not cooperating with a return since I suppose I should have seen it.
