So...with things changing in life thinking about finally selling the taco...it's been great...it got me out of debt going from my 18 f-150 to this..now I think it's time for it to go. I have my grandads full size chevy going and a gas saver.

1999 Tacoma SR5. CEL is on for a P0420 code which I think is due to the header.

    2.7L 4x4 5speed. 341,xxx miles I drive it 90 miles a day.

Over the past year I've done.
    Carrier bearing
    rear shocks
    front struts
    front diff seals
    transfer case seals
    new alternator.
change the oil every 3k miles
    everything works

Paint sucks and has small dents here and there. I'm in Alabama..thinking at least 6k?

I don't know much about the truck market in AL, but I think $6k would be a bit much, see what people on FB marketplace or Craigslist are selling theirs for.

How fast does it need to be sold?

I would start at $6,500 you can drop the price .

90 miles a day does add the mileage up.

You can ask for 6k all day long.

However, if this were a "Should I buy this truck for 6k?" thread, my answer would be fuck no, I wouldn't buy it for that.

You'd sell it easier if you solved that CEL. A 420 code is either really cheap or its going to be more expensive than what the truck is worth. If Im thinking like a potential buyer and I see anyone trying to sell without solving it, I'm going to assume its the latter.

...or you could stumble across a poor sap who doesnt know what they are about to buy, but only you can say how that will sit on your conscience.

In Northern CA here you could probably easily get $6k.

It does have about 350k miles. Not many people looking to buy a truck with 350k miles on its original motor/trans.. I'd say start at 6 and be very open to going down. No less than 4,500 I'd say

I might be open to that for a well cared for 350k miles, but the fact that there's a simple P0420 on the CEL and you haven't taken care of it would put that theory to bed real quick.

To me a PO420 code would not really impact the price .

The 4 cylinder engine would effect what I would pay more then the code.

    I drove 1 4runner home from Tuscaloosa
