2022 sr5 acess cab 2.7 towing lights

Is this a quick connect for trailer lights? My sr5 has all the fuses and relay for towing in place, just not actually plug and steel hitch obviously

 

IDK, but I'd say that's a real good guess. You could find out with a VOM, or take it to one one the bigger U-Haul places where they install hitches. Those guys know pretty much what/where all those things are.

 

Missing the entire 7 circuit connector.

 

Yeah I know it’s missing, I ordered the 7 pin connector from Toyota now I just to know where the other end plug into. That spot where you have the red X I’m wondering if that’s a pre wired plug, just would need a specific 7 pin to that connector. I’m hearing it’s call the be1 connector ?

BE1 is to the sonar sensors on the bumper and Cross traffic sensors (BSMS) which your truck does not have.

so moving forward, what do you recommend I do? I bought the oem 4 and 7 pin bumper attachment, just don’t know what harness to get now

 

4 banger is not towing worthy of trailer that requires a 7 pin connection...

 

it’s more so for aesthetics, I’m only going to be using a 4 pin for jet ski trailer

 

Get this and place plugs in connector so the wiring doesn't corrode.

So regardless I need to do a complete wire job on the 4cyl? No quick connects?

 

I have the SR and that's what I did.

 

I just want to know how to convert the added oem 4pin/7pin combo plug to the truck if there’s a quick connect. I saw that guy on YouTube do the splice in the tail light from the 4 pin but just wondering if there’s an easier way if my sr5 has all the fuses/ relays and seems to be “tow ready”

 

Ok. I was just wondering cuz I have all the fuses and relays from the factory so I’m just alittle stumped. Called the service dept at the dealer and even they don’t know for the 22’ SR5s if
They pre wire them now so going in for an appt Tuesday
