Full disclaimer: I recommend this as only a temporary solution because the flanges on this don’t mate well with OEM Toyota flanges.

I have an exhaust adapter up for sale that’s intended to make double cat TRD headers fit a single cat system. The adapter itself fits perfectly, but the flange mating surfaces leave a lot to be desired. I had troubles with exhaust leaks as well as burning the gaskets out of this while I had it installed (one month-ish). The adapter is made of all mild steel.

A potential long term solution could be cutting off these flanges and welding in flanges from LCE (or similar). Only reason I did not go this route is that I recently put an aftermarket catalytic converter in so needed to build a longer adapter.

If you don’t have a welder but want better flanges on this, I could potentially entertain welding them, of course you’ll need to cover cost of new flanges.

$25+ shipping, because I’d love to recoup on what I had to pay for the original crappy flanges… but of course OBO.

    2.5”

edit for clarification: The ID of this adapter slips over the OD of the y-pipe.

The OD of this adapter slips right inside the ID of an OEM catalytic converter.

    Make sense?
