Nerf Bars: 1st to 2nd Gen

    2011 Red Double Cab 4WD Tacoma
    I bought some nerf bars from a kid for $40. I think he had an '04 and mine is an '11. I cant find the brand of nerf bar it is. Any suggestions on how to identify the bars so I can then figure out if i have a chance of installing them on my Taco?     I have a 1st gen and have been trying to find out if 2nd gen nerf bars will be a direct fit. Did those fit your 2nd gen exactly?

    I'd bet they will not fit, but don't know for sure. 1st Gen and 2nd Gen Tacomas are completely different designs. One way to check is to get under the truck and measure the center to center of the bolt holes that they use to mount.

    Don't know if they will fit. I know 2nd gen will fit 3rd gen as not much changed between 2nd gen and 3rd Gen.
