Are you looking for an actual range or a location in a National Forest? Pistol, shotgun, rifle, archery?

There are plenty of ranges that you can pay to go to around Tacoma. But I assume you are asking for different spots you don’t need to pay to go to. There are a couple of shooting locations off of NF 7000 over by Greenwater. I would assume there may be a location or two in the Gifford Pinchot NF south of Alder Lake.

Depending on where you are looking, get ahold of an actual Topo map (you can get online in pdf) get the quadrant of the area you want to go, and then look in the map for “borrow pits”
Those are the large gravel pits marked on the map. There are tons of them , just have to know where they are at .

Lay down in the bed of the Tacoma with the tailgate open. That's the perfect spot for shooting.
