    I went to the quarter car wash in Montrose and used the "mag chloride" setting -- it sprays foam. Once the truck was covered with foam, I switched to the high power wash and that seemed to take care of it. That was ~20$ worth of spraying.

    My take-away: get the stuff off the truck as soon as possible.

    Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
    Beautiful area. Do you ever hike at this spot? Looks prime for hiking. You could switchback to those peaks.

    I drove up Ophir last week. Just around the turn in your picture, I was clearly sitting waiting to drive up, being just wide enough for one vehicle at a time. I was surprised how many people kept coming around the turn and driving down it, not looking ahead, when up hill has the right away.
