Thank goodness no. Not this weekend. Went to the lease yesterday to set up some cameras and drop off some feed and a few other light chores. Today is probably clean the garage day after the flea market.

 

I believe (if I can get the time off) we are going the last week of the month. Head out there and start setting up the feeder.

 

I was out about 3 weeks ago. Wind had knocked over 4 of the 5 feeders set up. Able to salvage 2 and get them running. After they hit the ground, the hogs certainly did a lot of damage to them.

 

That is what I have been searching, bear tore ours up last fall. May need to build something right quick to keep them at bay.

Except those legs need a wider stance because the feeder is top heavy.

 

Got it. Not big on the FB, but small gems have been coming up on the FB like a wrap pulley mod on the supercharger I like. The show wasn't bad, walked around a bit and had a good time overall.

 

He built legs off to the side to keep it from tipping. It was adjustable based on the terrain you would need to deal with.

 

There is a good showing at the event.

I've been running these feeders for about 8 years now, and their electronics and feeder control units for over 20 years. I place the feeders on a sheet of treated plywood so the hogs don't dig out the soil. Cows, bulls and 400lb+ boars haven't messed with them, no ladder needed to fill them. Lots of dealers sell them, just make sure your getting the iron frame legs as pictured below, I think Bucees sales a cheaper version, that I wouldn't recommend.

Afternoon gents, washed my wife’s and aunts cars.. went to service and now time to relax for a bit to get ready for work… going to try and set my schedule to wake up around 3 am to go to the gym and workout… before work. One thing I like about my new job is that I can schedule around it for my family and me. Anyways hope y’all had an awesome weekend!

 

Problem with those types is the bear will lift the corner of the lid of the feeder and bend it all up. Neighbors showed me pics of one that had done so and messed it pretty good.

 

Yup I agree, pretty sure Kevin don't have no bears in his area.
