I have an old Jeep CJ that I put a new holley fuel pump/sending unit (73-10 ohm) in and installed a 73-10 ohm fuel gauge. I hooked up power, ground and the sender wire and every time you key it on the gauge pegs all the way full. Without the sender wire hooked up it reads empty. The wire from the sender when disconnected reads 26 ohms so it must not be shorted to ground. Any help?

    Thanks
