I've got a 2013 4WD with 152k miles, just had Toyota put new U-joint on and since then the Slip Indicator is lit. What might have caused that??

Code P2610 shows. Slip Indicator doesn't clear with a code reader. Any way for me to resolve it, or does it need to go back to the dealer?

The P2610 is an engine code what ABS codes do you have?
Do you have any other lights on besides the slip indicator?

No other codes. And no other lights. Truck runs fine.

Not sure what's causing the slip light to stay on if you have no codes in the ABS module, it isn't clear if the P2610 would turn on the engine light but the troubleshooting info for the code basically says to replace the PCM.

Thanks, I'll have to look into what exactly that means. Is that something I can do as a person with basic knowledge or is it typically a dealer job? Expensive?
Seems pretty coincidental that it would happen when it did. I thought for sure it must be related to the universal joint replacement...

One more bit of history to this story.

The U-joint was replaced in Mid March. We left days later to Australia to visit our daughter, husband and granddaughter for 3 months. When we got home the battery was dead and truck needed to be jumped, and the battery then needed to be charged overnight to fully charge.
Make a difference in what I'm seeing?

That could have something to do with it, you could try disconnecting the battery for a bit and seeing if it clears.
Another thing you could try is a VSC reset/recalibration.
