2019 DCSB OR....PCM keeps calling me? Radio?

Hi Folks,

Something seems off.

Every time I get into the truck my Taco keeps "calling me".
It shows up on the display and it seems like I am making a call to ...MYSELF??? LOL.

This would be funny but it keeps happening. I turn off Bluetooth and it stops but when I turn Bluetooth back on it keeps calling myself?

There is probably something I am missing but I have no clue on how to fix this.

Any thoughts?????

Have you tried answering? You never know, maybe you have something important to say.

 

I would try deleting the phone from the head unit re-start the phone and reconnect. See if that helps.

 

OMG I TRIED!!!!!!!!!! LOL.....

Seems like something is in a "loop"....when I ask myself what the Megamillions/Powerball numbers are it wont tell me...HAHAH!

 

I'll give that a shot....not sure if it is something from the phone or the head unit.

 

Wild guess but do you maybe have google maps set as play as Bluetooth call? That option calls you with turn by turn directions instead of just playing them. It let's you still get verbal directions when not using your cells Bluetooth as the music source.
