I have 2014 double cab with the stock Entune (non JBL) that I do not drive often and was wondering if adding sound deadening to the inside of the doors would make a noticeable sound improvement?
Since this is not a daily driver I do not want to put a lot of money into a new system or speakers but would like to improve the sound if it is possible with just the deadener.

Deadener, if you already have some, can help. If you’re using the stock speakers, don’t buy some just for that. The difference would be minimal.

Sound deadening will make the cab a bit quieter. Deadening under the the headliner made a big difference in rain storms. How much quieter depends on variables like the tires, roof rack etc. The stock sound system is mediocre. Won’t sound better unless the components are upgraded.

Thanks, I thought I would ask before I purchased deadener. Will have to decide if I want to increase my investment on audio on a 4,000 mile a year driver.
