For the motor mount I cut the factory Tacoma motor mounts from the frame and they surprisingly fit in between the frame rails. I then used the factory trans mount welded it up solid. Then welded square tubing and some round with heim bushings. From the Comanche upper control arms I installed when I bought but want be using bc it will be leaf one tons on box sliders.

I will be running a factory xj aluminum rad with dual electric fans instead of the flex fan. Due to space in between the front of the motor and rad. Once I get the fuel tank painted and back in I hope to have it running. I have to finish fabrication on the factory floor mount shifter for the auto Tacoma trans since I will be using it aswell

I flipped the springs on the ford rear end pushing the rear back four to five inches id say.

I guess technically they are. It was intended to to push the mounting location of the axel back. Along with having the wide point of the springs in the front and the narrow in the back to match up with how the Comanche Frame is made. It’s a 1/2 difference in the front and the back and that’s what the springs where just in the opposite position. So a switcharoo and bam it fit in the factory mounts in the front and the rear had to be moved back and dropped 2.5 inches

Did you have the dana 35 in the back? I thought Comanche's came with a d44 which is arguably a better axle than a Ford 8.whatever.

It had the 35 front 30 rear. The metric ton had the 44. This is a sterling 10.50 with trutracs and the front is a Dana60 both from a 98 f250
