Crank Timing sprocket & woodruff stuck.

Any advice would be appreciated. I can't seem to remove my timing sprocket on the crankshaft. There is a woodruff key in the crank. I've used a two point puller with the correct Bolts m6x1.0 against the crank bolt with limit movement of the sprocket forward. And I can't seem to pry the woodruff key out first.

Questions. Do I need to remove the sprocket with the key still in place? Or do I remove the key first some how?

The sprocket should come off first, not the key. You shouldn't be able to "pry" the key out of place.

Also, I found this thread if you're having trouble removing it. Have you tried oiling it & letting it soak?
