I've been reading TacomaWorld for some time....just joined.

I do have a question about the 2007 2.7 liter air switching valve. Can it be cleaned with carb cleaner or the like?

I have one that began throwing an error as a stuck valve. I replaced both teh air pump and valve. I noticed that the valve was not exactly the same (thicker mounting flange and the solenoid screws were on the other side). I installed it anyway and now getting the code P0418. does this valve coil have a different impedence?

The old valve will work and not throw error as long as the engine is at temp.
