I lost my passenger-side sway bar bracket while camping this weekend. I have an Elka sway bar relocation kit that uses 8mm Allen bolts and an aluminum block.

I think the rear bolt stripped out of the aluminum block and the bracket ended up falling off on the trail. Despite all the tools I carry, I didn't have an 8mm Allen so I couldn't take off the driver-side bracket and pull the whole sway bar off.

Ended up strapping the sway bar to the bumper and frame until I could get back to town and an auto shop to get an 8mm Allen.

    I ordered a new bracket.

So my question is: does any body make a sway bar relocation kit that is steel and not aluminum block?

I vote remove as well. You have a strong coil over, and you work it hard. Remove and see how you like it.

I think the Elkas are ~700 lbs. My truck is a pig at ~6700 lbs. it drives better with the bar.
