Just installed my Dakars and was wondering what everyone was doing about the ebake brackets. With the tires on the truck and it sitting at ride height, all the brackets bolt on fine. I see most just remove the bracket that holds the cable to the leaf. Do you also remove unbolt the bracket from the front spring hanger or is that one fine to stay bolted in?

The one up by the hanger is fine. The one bolted to the leaf is also fine as long as you're running stock rear shock mounts. It's only once you do a rear shock relocate that leaving the e brake cable bolted to the leaf pack becomes an issue. Mine doesn't rub on my leafs too bad but if it does, you can always put a larger rubber hose around it where it makes contact with the leafs.

edit: Longer shocks like the bilstein b110 in the stock mounts allow enough droop that you should also leave the cable unbolted from the leafs.

I know that before I got my tires on and the suspension was a full droop, neither bracket was able to go back on until I put tires on and got it back to ride height. Rear shocks are extended 5100’s

Whoops, I forgot about the B110. That uses the stock mounts but is long enough to accommodate some good droop. I would leave the cable unbolted from the leafs in that case.
