I've always used lexen123 on ebay for my pre-cut tints.

I love the precut stuff. Done lots of vehicles and never had any longevity issues. My only issue is non-flat windows...can't seem to get them correct. Did my new Tacoma and my daughter's new Bronco Sport. $35 precut film is the way to go. My installation looks 95+% as good as a professional install. Work within the budgets you have or just be frugal.

For diy. I garage is a must. At least for me. Keeps the air born shit from floating into your tint as much. You can wet the garage floor too.
Gotta make sure you clean the holy heck out of your seals, they can hide contamination. Maybe tape for the cat hair. I would think the squeegee would wash it away.

Damn, mine was less than $400 IIRC and that was all 4 doors and the rear window(s). However, I'd pay more if I had to. It's the first thing I do with any new car.

Been tinting over 10 years - happy to help and/or answer any questions. To be honest, by the time you buy proper tools and quality film it's best to leave it to the pros.

The Tint Effect (Amazon seller called out by OP) is a local company to me and I know they use quality material. Once my post count is up I may look into selling pre cut patterns for the taco as well. I offer premium dyed film as well as ceramic. Ceramic film is NOT snake oil and is well worth the money (assuming you go with a quality ceramic film). "Ceramic" has become a buzz word in the automotive industry and let me tell you - not all ceramic films are created equal.

They don't get much easier than the Tacoma, especially with patterns. Good luck!

I’ve used pre-cut kits that I sourced online and never had an issue with quality. It never faded, bubbled or changed color.

To echo a post above mine, you want to have a surgically clean garage for the install and definitely wet the floor. One speck of dust can create a bubble several millimeters in diameter.
Window tint is not a forgiving material.

Just a note that I paid $130 a few years back at a local place for the two front windows in Llumar non-ceramic.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I got the pre cut set from snap tint one time and it was good quality and made the job a lot easer. I had no issue with it.

place by me that has a month wait because it's the best in town quoted me $199 to do my entire truck, including clear on the windshield and strip... that's nothing. My time is worth $, agree here, just go to a shop.

I looked into those precut tints but didn't have the confidence in doing the job. So I ended up taking it to a pro. I paid $320 cash for ceramic tint on all the windows. Within 2-3 minutes of driving out of work, there's no more noticeable heat. Whether you DIY or take it to a pro, I think ceramic is worth it. Especially in the south.

$440 is a great price for SunTek CXP, especially with a full windshield. Let us know how it turns out!

I've done many cars and trucks with precut tint.

It's easy after the first time. Too easy to justify paying ridiculous amounts to outsource the task. Looking at the rates in this thread, I've probably saved myself at least $2500....

I’ve tried it and didn’t turn out well for me. Like someone previously mentioned, mess up and it’s done… lol.
    The quality seemed ok though.
