You should be able to call the manufacturer and talk to their Technical Support team.
That's a bunch of torque to stretch it to 20mm!:eek::eek::eek:

Simple drill cycle that is all.

It sure doesn't seem like they are feeding 150ipm in this video.

Got these little guys bought off and now running out the rest. Onto programming my next job while those are running in the machine.

They go out for Ano then back for assembly and final machining.

Top and bottom bores in the post are .3440-.3445.

Next up is this box and popping in holes and adding rivnuts to an internal plate that goes inside.

The little 6061 parts were kind of a pain.. mostly because the print sucks and there wasnt Ano/Mask info provided.

This box project should be fun though. I like little on-off jobs like this. can take my time and make sure its done right and done well... because there are no backups! lol

Last one off box I did was stainless and had to do it all by hand cause it wouldn't fit in the machine. Used a unibit off of Amazon and it worked great!

It works! Thank you @XPOTRPR for catching the MM to inch feed rate mistake I had :hattip:

    2400rpm, 5.9ipm feed. 51 seconds cycle time for 6 holes over 10”.

hell yeah! Looks like it worked perfectly with those speeds/feeds. And thats not bad times either. Are you going back through with a tap or one of their flowtap tools?

The customer is going to tap them. They used to do these in house, not sure why they want us to drill them if they are going to tap them.
