I just recently joined and got a new 2022 SR Access Cab and have started figuring out what I want to do to it. Having a lot of fun digging through the site so far.

As I scoped out adding fog lights, I noticed an empty wiring harness in the engine bay. I searched quite a bit but didn’t find anything. It’s in the engine bay, in front of the battery and behind the headlight.

I’m sure it doesn’t have anything to do with fogs, but maybe a connection for something else?

    Anyone know what it is?

I did find a number on the side of it…26020 HA4. When I searched on this, I was able to uncover a Toyota part number…82824-26020, but couldn’t find out what it was used for.

It's a junction block to the CAN-BUS system. One side is the connector the mating (Dark Gray) is the junction block.

    Oh look, another mod....

You should have two random, un-used connectors in your engine bay. One is for fog lights, the other is for the front facing camera.

Like Caribe says, there is a lot that goes into making your truck spark - and only one wiring harness for all trim levels.
So don't blow your top when you find one unconnected.
