Anytime Backup Camera help

Inferno '17 TRD Offroad

Ok, so I have a Anytime Backup Camera setup on my 17. For whatever reason it switching to the front view is temperature sensitive.
I mean in the morning it works fine but after sitting in my truck all day at work it doesn't switch from rear view. The switch functions, but the switching relay doesn't.
The maker is certain I have a bad ground.
I'm not convinced since it works in a predictable way.
Anyone have any ideas?
