Softopper customer service problems

    Anybody else having issues with Softopper customer service? I placed an order for a replacement rear panel on April 13, they charged my credit card on April 14, sent an email notice that my order was being prepared to ship on April 24...and then nothing. No tracking number, no shipment notice, no product. I've sent them an email, used the message portal on their website, left a voicemail. Nothing. They don't seem to be interested in having a live person answering the phone. It seems like they have really gone down hill since Bestop bought them out. I've purchased from Softopper three times before the buyout and never had any issues.

    DIY Fabricobbler.
    Dispute the charge with your CC company, and wait and see if BestTop/Softopper finally gets back to you.

    Lack of help, lack of supplies, lack of pretty much anything is normal now a days. But lack of communication is not acceptable.

    It's pretty amazing how fast a company will get back to you when you threaten to take your money back. Haha!!

    Finally, more than three months later, I got my replacement rear panel. After numerous attempts at contact by email, website message portal, and voice mail message (all unanswered) Facebook messenger (made initial contact after a long delay, then got ghosted), openly griping on their Facebook page (twice) and finally, finally, making human voice contact...a human answered the phone!.. not once but twice as the first human contact resulted in no action, two promises of callbacks not met, one promise that was...Cheesus, what an ordeal and utterly ridiculous. First human contact, I did get an apology but on both occasions there was zero effort at making a goodwill gesture such as, I don't know, a full or even partial refund, a gift card, a free accessory, a T-shirt maybe, not even a sticker.
