Uhhhhh my truck doesn't shudder due to speed at all..

This if you feel it in the center or rear. Worth doing any time you add a rear lift imo. Very easy to install and cheap.

And this if you feel it up front. My money is on needing the ECGS as it's super common. Harder to install but will likely fix you up.

I live in a mountainous and hilly region. That has a lot to do with it. If I'm going flay out it won't do it.

I'm running a stock suspension and I know exactly what OP is talking about. Seems like some trucks have it and others don't. Have been looking for an explanation for over a year now and, so far, nothing. Best of luck learning to live with it as I have!

DO you feel it in the steering wheel?
If so check your steering system and joints, somethings worn or loose.

Yes, rotate the tires front to back.
That will help you pinpoint if its tire balance.

So op, we need details, what kind of lift is it? Who installed the lift? Can you feel it in the steering wheel? It is not normal, mine has a 2 inch inch lift and has no shudder.

Well you are one of the ones who has one that doesn't. There's several reports if this, this is nothing new.

Ah yes several reports, out of 1.5 million trucks. That doesn't make it normal you are the exception not the rule.

Mines done it since about 1000km on the truck. 2018. Dealer is of no help. No one is. Tunes didnt help, TSBs, different wheels etc. just the way the truck is. I’ve driven other third gens that dont have the issue so it’s not “normal” It’s almost like Toyota knows about the issue (there’s no way they don’t) but has told dealers to not acknowledge it so they dont have to offer a real fix. I’m convinced it’s a defect in the trans. valve body or torque converter.

^^Torque converter^^ The trans is trying to find the sweet spot makes sense.
I would ask how many miles on the truck and when was the last Tran / fluid change,..... and with what fluid (that counts)

It is related to torque converter being in full locked state at particular speed and rpms range. Only solution is to get tuned.

I started it at the known actions of the transmission,... its normal,
but with the correct fluid at the correct level.
(Check /change fluid) you need the correct fluid, if you do not know the fluid type change it it may be the issue.

My truck doesn't shudder, or vibrate at speeds either, but then again i didn't mess with a lift.

This is the same thing I was told when asked about my 2019 being unusually loud. My truck is an Offroad, although not with that large of tires and does not shutter at all. However, when attempting to accelerate it needs a good 1-2 seconds to respond. They fixed that with some easy fix that was covered under warranty. IE, it's not just a normal characteristic. Sorry Delta. ;).

    A few.
Ive had this issue on my 2019 for years now which i bought new and i just realized something and cant believe it took me this long.
The shuddering only happens when the truck has been sitting for 2 hours or longer and has cooled down. Then when i drive it i can feel the shudder for the first couple miles or so and then it lessens or goes away. After it gets warmed up to operating temp which causes fluid to expand.
This caused me to suspect low transmission fluid. There has been a number if people who have claimed they found low fluid from the factory. I just bought some fluid and will be doing a drain and fill soon to see if Im correct.
