I wore my seatbelt more often than not, as a kid, but I became positively religious about it, after becoming an EMT in High School, after a positively horrendous car crash that was my first call - Passenger dead, driver in the hospital for 7 months, no belts.

We always had to wear seat belt on active duty, just second nature now.

That was one thing that irritated me about Maverick - When he was driving his motorcycle, on base, with no helmet or high vis vest! LOL!

My 13yo daughter just asked me about adding music to a CD. I told her she needs a blank CD to burn the music to. The look on her face when I said burn

Kind of. She seemed concerned for a moment.
Maybe this is what she imagined...

Not me, but my wife is 28 years USAF retired. Then 14 years DEA retired. I always held "civilian" jobs as my wife would say, ending with being 25% owner of an engineering company I started in 1994 with three other guys. She retired from DEA in Jan 2018. I retired from my company in Feb 2020, just days before the world shut down with China Virus. :puke:

My UPS truck would send a message to the office if I tried to drive the truck without a seat belt on.

Hell yeah. If you put the truck in gear before putting on the seat belt , then you would be called into the office the next morning.

We had a couple of vans come in like that.
    Loved to fuck with them.
One had a vibration and I had the truck on the lift.
Guy got chewed out for going over 110 mph.

My mom sold Tupperware for a little while when I was a kid. I remember her having parties at the house and going with her to other peoples houses for parties.

When I was about 14 I went deer hunting with my dad and a bunch of his buddies...anyhow, there were like 8 of us in this old van, all of them were smoking. I was like, "ya'll gonna have to roll all these windows down or just pull over and let me out".
I shot my very first deer that day:)
