I finally got around to installing the R4T high clearance exhaust. No issues and the initial startup sounded nice and throaty.

 

Please lmk how it does with drone on the highway, my AFE rock basher is super annoying even after slapping on sound deadening mats all over. I will get this if anything. Cheers

 

Front door windows got tinted, I got the ceramic coated tint to help with the more intense UV bombardment we get at 6000 ft above sea level.

I picked up a knock off one locally from offerup for about $100.00 painted, installed it and it saved my ass. I almost went in to a gulch on a washed out road. The skid plate got stuck on a rock and kept me from going all the way down. So I can say I was actually impressed on how well it held up. Most of my trucks weight was on it and it did it's job. Only minor damage except for the bolt hole that took a direct hit.

Wow! I'm impressed! The skid seems to be pretty strong. My only gripe was the install wasn't as easy as I had expected. But, most likely that was just because I didn't know what I was doing. I'm sure there was a much easier way to do it. But, it looks like it will do its job if needed. Saved you from some expensive drive train damage, not to mention the oil pan. I wonder how the stock skid plate would have done in that situation.

 

Yeah my install was rage inducing as well. The numb skull who sold it to me swapped the front and middle bolts it took me awhile to figure it out and get them swapped. I don't think the OEM OR skid would have allowed me to continue my trip and off road for another 3 days then drive 300 miles home without issue. I even too it to get aligned after I installed my new bumper and it was fine.

 

Rci trans skid/cat guard came in today. Almost went with millers cat guard then found out about this. Will match up well with the trd pro skid plate. Thanks @Truck Brigade for the awesome deal! 2nd time ordering from them. 1st was prinsu roof rack

 

How do you like the Ironman leaf springs? Also what hangers are those?

 

how's your suspension, I see you have the arb bp-51 any good?

 

I just got the BP-51’s with the Ironman leaf springs and Archive Garage Hammer Hangers. So far I like them. They are nice and quiet (right now) too.

 

Looks really nice! I just did the Headstrong AAL and left the overload leaf in. (I'm running about 400lbs of gear when fully loaded for a week plus trip)
Truck looks a little absurd with no weight in it TBH. The ride is also a bit harsher than I'd like.
Probably going to end up doing something similar to yours a full leaf swap.

 

One of the best most practical “mods” I’ve done to my truck. You’ll really enjoy it. No matter the temp outside, I can grab the steering wheel without it being too hot.

 

Street cred (off-road cred is more accurate) looks awesome! Don’t fix the scratch on the skid! Haha

 

Anyone wondering if you can fit a ripp oil catch can with an OGE dual battery system and a group 35 battery. Just barely.

 

J&L PNP oil catch can & tailgatecamera PNP camera relocation kit. Wanted to get ahead of oil everywhere in the intake as my supercharger is about to ship soon. Also camera comes with a new camera and 2 mounting brackets. Had to do this cause my CBI high clearance bumper was in the way of my OEM camera. It was easier this way then rewiring and moving mine.
