I see several videos on fitting a 285/70/17 in the factory location which technically is short of a 33” (pretty close however) but what about bigger? I was able to stuff a Yokohama Geolander 003 MT 295/70/17 which I believe is a 33.3” tire under my stock spare location.

    1. i bent back both the fwd tabs
    2. I’m running a Stromung high clearance exhaust so it’s completely away which helps a lot.
    3. I pulled the tire all the way rearward while tightening chain pulley.
    4. Since I’m running a twin ARB, I deflated it down to 15 psi.

i have good clearance from the diff, and by removing the rubber exhaust hangar, it fits perfectly against the rear factory exhaust mount.
