If you do a lot of high-speed stuff, it makes sense.

Funny, I used to have neoprene shock boots on my bicycle. I found out real quick why they called them "dirt funnels."

is that good or bad? I don’t think they “trap” per se, but “protect”

In the case of the bike, it was bad. They kept out 99% of the trail dust, but for the 1% that got in it held it there. I wound up having to rebuild my shocks twice as often than if I had just left them bare and rinsed off after each ride.

the sleeves aren’t enclosed on the bottom or top though. Just from the outside? I haven’t installed them yet.

My advice is to install them, but check (and clean) behind them on a regular basis.

Admittedly I have never run shock boots on a car, so I don't know how they'll do. Hopefully they work better than they did on my bike. :cookiemonster:

Agreed! I mean, Accutune has a good reputation, and don’t strike me as a company that would market things that aren’t functional. But it’s not outside the realm of impossible either.

Alot of mud cakes? One plus is it'll keep your coils moisturized.
