Cole and I got the trailer floor in.

Wayne, the man who build it in 1981 thought this out. He made a pocket on the front to captivate the boards.

I redid it the way he made it, route a 2” wide groove 1/4” deep for a flat bar to hold the back. With it being recessed the mower deck won’t hang on it.

Now I need to flip the ramps and paint that side and put new wheel bearings in the rear axle hubs next week and paint the wheels.

Didn’t know it but there’s a yellow jackets nest in the old diesel pump in the pictures, one got me on top of the head.

In my 54 years of walking this earth I never once been stung by a wasp or yellow jacket; a few bees when I was a kid, but none of the big stuff.

* probably walks into shop two hours later and is nailed between the eyes by a wasp

I really hope you did not just change your luck and need to make up for all those sting free years.

I would rather get sprayed by a skunk then get stung.

My son landed a new construction job and needed some new clothes. So my wife takes him over to Walmart. He comes home and has a brand new Thermos too. The next morning I get up and he's sitting on the couch all cleaned up. I said I see your ready for work. He said yeah and this Thermos is really nice, it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. I said what ya got in there. He said 2 cups of coffee and some sweet tea.
