    1997 Tacoma 2wd 2.4L extracab
    210k miles, bought salvaged with 99k miles. Runs incredibly well. Great fuel economy. Had trans fluid level checked 5 years ago. Mostly hi speed freeway driving with moderate loads.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Go for the easy and low cost first change the shifter seat and bushing Marlin Crawler products seem to work well.

    If that cures your problem good other wise when bearings wear gears change engagement it pops out of gear easier.
