How soon before cured concrete can be power washed?

 

Id say within a day. Mine got a hell of a thunderstorm washing it about 8 hours after the pour. No ill effects.

I thought lip was more. You should be OK. I'm no expert on concrete steps and railings, just making sure there will be plenty of meat and strength to attach and hold when fat uncle Ralph falls assfirst into the rail somehow.

 

There's a 2 X 4 that's creating the lip. Plus there a slight raise to increase the height so it meets code.

Once the frame is off I'll be able to take better pictures.

 

I mean, a cheapo electric washer thats only slightly more pressure than a garden hose, sure. I would wait a few weeks before hitting it with my honda.

Didn't take any pictures, but I finally put the roof vent in through the roof for the bathroom exhaust fan I replaced several months ago.

 

Wow. Bushed. Power washed most of the day. I'm out.

 

Finally pulled the trigger on getting a legit back door installed in my dining room. Taking the dog out through the carport has been ok, but lately shes shown an interest in running off. Also a french door would look killer in place of the double windows above the patio.


Got a guy lined up to do the brickwork and install the door so I pulled the trigger on this today. Getting delivered later this week.


Salesguy knocked off $40 for a dinged up piece of molding that a little bondo will fix up. Cant wait for this one!

 

That first (last?) step is pretty tall. You going to build up the dirt leading up to it?

 

Yeah, not sure what code states, but that first step looks a little high.

 

Installed the outlet in my attic for my Nest cameras. I was soaking wet when i got done lol.

 

The contractor was going to bring the dirt up once he remove the wood forms.

Hopefully the landscaper can do the walkway soon.
