Right on, I've looked at those before but didn't know they came in multicam black.

3K rounds for the Kimber. Its fire season so .22 and plated/lead bullets are the thing for shooting til the Fall rain/snow. The long range stuff and FMJ will wait out the Summer. The Kimber build really likes the Mini-Mags. The lever action consumes the crappy bulk stuff.

It was not inexpensive and I went ahead and ordered another 3K as I've not seen any .22 locally. Honestly the .22 1911 is just as much fun as the .45 when it comes to dancing cans across the desert. ....these might be the 'good ole days'

Sold a NM Springfield M1A. Used funds to buy a used Winchester Model 70 Heavy Varmit in .308 with a Vortex Viper 6-24. Have the same gun in .223 already. Super heavy but accurate and great off a bench.

Finally got around to grabbing a spare/rainy day lower. Also picked up some 45 while I was there.

Sighted in the green one today. It ran super smooth, dumped all the brass in a tidy little pile from the bench, and shot pretty damn good for a fresh build. Moa at 100 just shooting off a bag. I’m happy

Not in the last 48 hours technically, but the government finally said okay. Only 17 months later. 07E5BA74-7047-4646-AA6F-CE4568437884.jpg2CE44C75-7DC4-4FF1-BD0F-8F74CC73096E.jpg

Nice! I love a good FDE build!

I don’t have any plans to build this lower up anytime soon but it’ll prolly become a 300 in a few years. I went for the M4E1 specifically for the threaded bolt catch. I have one on my billet build and can’t go back. I hate those stupid roll pins!

When they come back in stock on brownells (great sale price) I’m gonna get an Aero .308 lower and that’ll be my next build. I was pretty set on 2 tone with black receivers but you’ve got me thinking about full FDE again.

Just a few more days and she's coming home!! Zastava quality is really up there. I got to see all the akm at my LGS and the fit and finish from furniture to BCG action was top notch. Only bested by the Kalashnikov kr103 which probably has the smoothest action out of the box of any of them.

Loving this thing btw. Cable was long enough to wrap around both rear seat pillars. Can pull it out just far enough to place firearm in and it tucks nicely under the seat. Can't be seen/noticed from above.

Nice. Was that about 6lbs what I'm seeing in the internets? I bought one of these cheap electric flappers but it's heavier than I thought. And probably prefer to mount something like your case against a wall.

    I don't think it's 6 lbs. I'd guess 3-4.
