Water in front diff, what to do?

So I'm repairing the CV boot on the passenger side front of my truck and when I yanked the axle, the diff oil is milky so I definitely got some water in there at some point. My question is, what should I do now? I'm going to drain and replace the diff fluid but is there anything else I should do? Should I change it again soon after running some clean oil through it?

 

Drain it out, fresh fluid, run it for a short interval, then change the fluid again. Still milky? Repeat the process. Cheaper than a new diff.

Also, look at your diff breather to make sure its not clogged.
