It all going to be taking care of. The concrete was just poured.

Monday he's supposed to bring up the dirt until the other person can do the walkway.

I learned while I put in insulation last summer. No attic trips until atleast September. All the electrical for my kitchen is gonna wait until then, its just aint worth it.

    Oh, I don't doubt it.

I was up there all before noon and I still had to bring a box fan up with me.

Finally attacked one of 2 sinks. photos show how bad originals were, probably 20+ years old. Copper piping and all. Did most of it blind, as you can see, there was very little room to actually work.

Wanted to wrap up the lattice under the deck this weekend. Been in the high 90’s all week and 100 yesterday. Got the front done last week but the side will have to wait. To hot for me. Just need some stain and a little rain for the grass.

Thanks. It’s been pretty hot here and no rain for awhile. Unfortunately this is in the sun most of the day. Supposed to rain today.

4" of Closed Cell Spray Foam will get you your R-28. (R-7 per inch). If in the budget go to 5.5 inches.

Hated the location of the switches so moved them closer to the doorway, still have to prime and paint to finish up.

I can see your frustration with location. I hate fumbling for switches. I remember I visited a house once and the light switches were behind the swing of the door. WHO DOES THAT?

It was frustrating having to reach so far in when entering that room, cant imagine how inconvenient that was in the house you visited.

Its amazing how much a motion of turning on a lightswitch is muscle memory. My parents built their current house, and they wanted a chairrail/wainscoting feature on basically the entire house. They integrated the lightswitches into the trim. But they land about 7-8" lower than what I consider standard atleast. I'm constantly smacking wall instead of switch in their place.

That is normally a mistake made by the guy ordering the interior doors
As an electrician I verify the swing of the door when roughing in the house and come back ocasionally to find that problem

I agree. It's nuts. Maybe swap the door? Way better than swapping the electrical.
