Does anyone have an Owl Expedition fire extinguisher mount in their Gen 2?

Did anyone on here mount one of the Owl Expedition front-passenger-seat fire extinguisher mounts on their Gen 2 Tacoma?

The product, which seems no longer to be available, has side plates that attach (in theory) to the metal plates on the sides of the seats. The 100-series Land Cruiser mount is still available, and one can see pix here, and LC mounting instructions here.

The company never produced instructions for the Tacoma mount. In emails a year or two ago with the principals, there wasn't anything unusual in fixing it. (They've since stopped responding to a follow up question.)

But.... the kit I have doesn't fit on my 2015 Gen 2 DC TRD OR. The holes in the Owl Expedition side plates don't match up the holes in the sheet metal of my seat frames. I can probably shart ovalizing holes and get it to fit, but I thought I'd check to see if anyone here had any experience, in case there's something I'm missing.

Here's the interference I'm talking about. The Owl plate can't move enough for the holes to line up because the front part interferes with the seat cushion. I can get one machine screw in place or the other, but not both.

Here's the seat before those two machine screws are removed where the plate should ft.
