Cheap tool for installing cam pulleys?

    Thanks! That's the one I was wondering about, it's super cheap.

    I already checked one of the local auto parts stores websites to see if they had one to borrow. I didn't see one but maybe I should take a quick drive down and look for myself.

    Ther is a way with out a tool but it can be a pain in the ass to do without an extra set of capable hands.

    I went ahead and ordered the $20 tool from Amazon recommended earlier in this thread. If it does the job, it'll be worth it.

    Hopefully this is like the valve spring compressor I needed a while back. My son had the absolute cheapest kit from Amazon for his dirt bike, it worked perfectly on the 5VZ-FE heads. I was going to order something better but thought I'd give his kit a try - perfect.

    I checked the local auto parts stores and none had a suitable loaner tool.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along

    I have had to many low cost tools end up being very expensive .
