When Carnation was ready to unleash Evaporated Milk onto an unsuspecting world, they figured they needed a slogan.
So they had a contest, $5,000 bucks to the winner (this was a long time ago).
The following slogan did not win, but the Carnation execs liked it so much they awarded a consolation prize of $1,000.
