I didn’t lose noticeable power. This was some years ago, since then I’ve dabbled with armor mods, now those you’ll see a loss of power — unless you go with aluminum.

I think my lift for that truck was bilstein 5100s up front and eibach coils then in the rear were bilstein 5125s and all pro expedition leaf packs

Duratracs perform well all around, but are fairly noisy, which is to be expected for an aggressive tire. That being said, I’ll never own another set because they are the only tire I’ve had that I’ve had a failure on. Had a sidewall blow out while simply driving down a 25 mph street on tires that had more than half life left on them on a vehicle that never sees anything worse than a dirt road. After inspecting the tires after the failure I had two that looked mint and two, including the one that failed, that appeared to have cracks starting on the sidewall. All four tires had the same manufacture date and that vehicle spends most of its life in a covered car port so sun rot was not the issue. Just two crappy tires. You might not hear it much in the light weight Toyota world, but there are a lot of complaints about soft and squirmy sidewalls on duratracs in the full size truck world. Especially if towing is involved. Swapped them out to Ko2s, which I’ve had great success with on my Toyota and won’t go back. Never had issues on wet pavement with Ko2s. Another option for an aggressive all terrain I recently found in an odd ball size I was looking for for my Tacoma is the kenda klever rt. Haven’t had them long enough to comment on performance but they look promising.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Two questions

Does the truck sit a lot?
Where both the "crappy" tires on the same side of the truck?

gets drove at least once a week, and no, they were both on the rear.

I know it was probably a fluke deal with just a bad batch of rubber or something, things happen in mass production, but it was enough to sway me to look elsewhere
